EA and the Premier League have announced the second season of the ePremier League esports competition for FIFA 20, allowing players to represent their favourite clubs after a season that saw plenty compete on PS4 and Xbox One.
Registration opens on November 4 at this link, and competitors will start playing from December 2. Four months of play will lead up to the ePL finals in March of 2020, including online qualifications and club playoffs.
The first season had thousands of registrations, with Donovan 'Tekkz' Hunt winning the trophy representing Liverpool. Sky Sports even televised the finals, and just like last year, performing well this year will get you Global Series Points for other events in the year.
"Our inaugural ePremier League season had a great response from fans and clubs," said Richard Masters, Premier League Interim Chief Executive. "The tournament brought together experienced EA Sports FIFA pros and first-time competitors and gave them the unique opportunity to compete and win for their favourite clubs. We are very pleased to be working with our clubs again to build on the momentum from our first ePL season and look forward to welcoming even more fans and EA Sports FIFA players to the tournament."
