The London-based, David Beckham-backed esports organisation Guild Esports has announced that it has signed a new partnership deal with the peripheral manufacturer Razer. Set to last for two years, the deal will see Razer tied to Guild as its official gaming chair partner, with the deal also seeing Razer providing Guild with chairs to outfit its headquarters and academy, and for its players and content creators around the world.

"We're delighted to be partnering with Razer, a leading brand that has built a global audience and has been a staple in the esports community for many years. With a shared vision of growth and providing value to our community, we very much look forward to our partnership with Razer," said Kal Hourd, chief executive of Guild. "This is the fifth brand to sign with Guild, and this demonstrates the quality of partners we continue to attract because of our fan-focussed strategy, team performances and relationship with a fast-growing, young, and passionate audience."

The exact financial aspect of the deal is remaining confidential, but we are told that 80% of the contract will be paid in cash over the two years.
