The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 competitive season (as part of the Call of Duty World League, or CWL), has only just started with the live Las Vegas event earlier this month, but eUnited's coach Brian 'Saint' Baroska already has something to say on the rules, as he explained in a thread on Twitter.
"Been thinking about it all night and why haven't the coaching rules changed for CoD yet? If you look at any other major shooter title whether it be CS, R6, Halo, or GoW they ALL allow coaches on stage with the team being able to communicate whether it be in game or between rds," he said.
"With CoD it's near impossible to even talk to the team in between maps because you need to walk over to the stage after the map and physically take one of your player's headsets off their head and use it to talk to the team while at that point the next map is about to start soon."
"I just find it a bit ridiculous how myself and Teep had to watch our teams play in the finals of a major from in the crowd. I know my opinion will just be brushed aside but this has been bothering me for a while."
It might not be brushed aside though, because a lot of people responded agreeing with him, again comparing Call of Duty to other esports like CS:GO, where the coaching rules are very different.
