Topgolf is a chain that lets you play golf casually at various locations across the world, and now the brand has revealed a partnership with television brand TCL to bring esports lounges to some of their venues, with the Las Vegas Topgolf opening its lounge in early January alongside the Consumer Electronics Show.

Esports lounges will be added to six venues and will include TCL 4K UHD 6-Series TVs, "optimized for individual and group esports gaming and entertainment," according to the press release. There will be special events alongside the usual mix of games, not to mention viewing parties, meet and greets, and coaching sessions.

Topgolf are even looking to have esports events hosting at these venues, and will partner with national esports leagues to host things like qualifiers, leagues, and more. "TCL and Topgolf expect the partnership to reach more than 63 million guests annually over the multi-year partnership," the post adds.

"Topgolf at our core is about bringing people from all walks of life together through play, competition, music and food to share in meaningful moments," said Topgolf Media President YuChiang Cheng. "In partnership with TCL, we have reached out to a diverse group of gamers of all different backgrounds to give us input to make a welcoming space. Creating an inclusive esports destination, driven by TCL's polished viewing and gaming presentation, will help further a diverse group of people to enjoy esports and feel welcomed."

Is this a good fit for Topgolf?
