LoL Worlds heading to Berlin, Madrid, and Paris this year

From October to November major European cities will be hosting one of the biggest esports competitions in the world.

Riot Games has revealed the cities and venues due to host the League of Legends World Championships, starting in October, and the play-in stage will take place in Berlin's LEC (LoL European Championship) Studio in Berlin between October 2 and 8.

After that the group stage will head to the Verti Music Hall in Berlin between October 12 and 20, with the quarter- and semi-finals heading to the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid from October 26 to November 3. Lastly, the finals will be landing at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on November 10.

"The League of Legends World Championship is the pinnacle of esports," said John Needham, Global Head of LoL Esports at Riot Games "We are driven by the desire to bring joy to tens of millions of fans all over the globe, and these three amazing cities will provide unique settings for all to experience League of Legends esports at its best."
