It seems that a fair few League of Legends squads are looking to build their management teams, as recently we reported on Excel looking for a team manager, and now a new job listing reveals that Origen are on the hunt for an esports psychologist as well.
This will require the applicant to work with League of Legends manager Javier 'Xavis' Dominguez and head coach Baltat 'AoD' Alin - as wel as the rest of the staff - throughout the season, and this is a part-time job for the summer split, starting in June.
Experience as a psychologist is necessary, as well as an understanding of esports needs like stress, sleep, and nutrients. This also reflects a growing commitment within the industry to understanding the needs of esports athletes, which extends to management, discipline, mental health, physical wellbeing, and more.
