The esports organisation Fnatic has announced a partnership with the automobile brand BMW, a deal that is said to last for multiple years and includes the opening of a brand-new performance facility based in Berlin, Germany.

Known as the BMW X Fnatic Esports Performance Facility, this building features an in-house gym, a serviced kitchen, changing rooms, a relaxation and recreation area, two gaming performance suites, a content studio, a match review room, a BMW sim-racing rig, a dedicated office space, as well as a range of the top hardware and appliances, and ultra-fast broadband connecting it to the outside world.

"The BMW x Fnatic Esports Performance Facility has been specifically designed to support our League of Legends players as they strive for excellence in the upcoming LEC Summer Season," said Jens Hofer, director of Fnatic's high performance unit. "We're so excited to finally be opening the unit alongside BMW and setting a new standard for esports facilities in Europe. This facility is another step forward for our HPU as we plan our return to the top of European League of Legends".

As Hofer mentions, this facility will be used by Fnatic's LEC roster as they look to earn a spot in the League of Legends World Championship set for later this year.
