Ubisoft has announced the plans for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege esports events. Starting with the remainder of 2021, there are plans in place to push the 2020 Regional Finals to January 2021, in some regions, with others starting as soon as this weekend. The event will be offline for all regions, except for Latin-America, as the Brazil Division Grand Final is set to be a LAN tournament on November 29.

In Europe, the Regional Finals are set for January 15-17. Asia's Regional Finals will be split between three regions (North Division, Oceania, and South Asia), with the tournaments set for January 8-10. For North America, the Canada Division Finals are set for December 11-13, but information regarding the US portion is still yet to be revealed.

The highly-anticipated Six Invitational 2021 will be happening, and it will be a LAN event. Currently, the plan is to bring together 20 teams from across the globe to compete offline, following strict sanitary procedures. Open Qualifiers are set to kick-off on December 2, but the main event is scheduled for late-February.

The May and August Majors are still being explored, with Ubisoft and teams currently communicating and posing options.

Last of all, unfortunately, the Rainbow Six World Cup will no longer be taking place in 2021, as it has been postponed till at least 2022, due to logistical issues surrounding the global pandemic.

You can read a little further in depth about each of these areas at the post detailing all, right here.
