Blades of Steel - Retro Gameplay

This is how we played ice hockey videogames back on the 80s. Konami's Blades of Steel was probably the most detailed, exciting, fast-paced and therefore popular hockey arcade of those years. And, as you can see, it was pretty easy to learn but really hard to master, as it required quick passing, accurate shooting when there was a chance... and even some fighting skills! Checkout this Montreal-Minnesota match, in which our Canadian fictional team is crushed by US' excellent forwards (though we think our terrible defense, including an own goal, and their unbeatable goalkeeper, have something to do). First period's score is 0-5, so we thought it's enough retro gameplay for this Throwback Thursday. Oh, and isn't that some voice acting sampling on a 8-bit game? Yeah!
