Here's a semi-final round-up from the Faceit Major

Four teams entered the competition today, and now two are left.

The past two days have narrowed down the eight finalists of the Faceit Major CS:GO competition being held in London down to four for today's semi-finals, and we were on hand to witness both of the matches that would decide who goes into tomorrow's grand final.

First off was MIBR facing NaVi, and on Overpass things started pretty evenly, with both teams exchanging blows for the first 10 rounds to keep it relatively even. At that point though the strong performances of the likes of Egor 'Flamie' Vasilyev, Oleksandr 'S1mple' Kostyliev, and Denis 'Electronic' Sharipov meant NaVi started pulling ahead, and despite MIBR getting a few more points under their belt, the first map ended 16-10 for NaVi.

On Dust II though things weren't quite as close, as MIBR proved once again this map wasn't really their strong suit, losing more momentum as NaVi gained it. NaVi's confidence showed throughout, and their grand final spot was secured with a 16-5 win.

Then came Team Liquid vs. Astralis, and despite Astralis being the favourites of this match, a lot of the talent predicted that Liquid would take this match. Going into Nuke things were pretty much comfortable for Astralis, as despite a few great clutches from the likes of Nicholas 'Nitr0' Cannella and Russel 'Twistzz' Van Dulken, the Danes controlled the map, even more on the second map: Mirage. Things were always looking comfortable for Astralis, and before you knew it the night had ended with another 2-0 finish.

With NaVi and Astralis both looking cool and collected today, it'll be interesting to see if both sides can carry that into the final. Who do you think will win?
