Now that BlizzConline has finally wrapped up, we have all the details we need to prepare for the next season of the Overwatch League. The 2021 season will be split into two regions again and will run on a tournament format that will start as soon as April 16, with the Houston Outlaws facing the Dallas Fuel.

The full schedule for the entire season has also been revealed, but considering there are 19 weeks worth of games out in the open, it's probably best you head over here to see who your team will be facing.

We have also been shown off the four tournaments that will split up the majority of the regular season. The May Melee, June Joust, Summer Showdown, and the Countdown Cup are all set to take place between May and August and will each have three weeks of regular season competition building up to their respective main events. Tournaments will also use a double-elimination format, with the best teams from each region facing-off on the tournament weekend.

The League Points system is also seeing a shift. Teams will now earn 1 point be regular season win, and between 1-3 points if they manage a first, second, or third tournament weekend result. League Points will be used to determine seeding in the Playoffs at the end of the season, so each win is important.

The prize pool was also detailed. The full season will have a $4,250,000 pool, with tournaments each being worth $225,000 split among first through fourth place. Playoffs will have a $3,250,000 prize pool, with first place taking home $1,500,000.
